Brett Roberts is a lifelong resident of Eaton County, and a 6th generation farmer with more than 20 years of experience with row crops. In addition to farming and being a State Representative, he runs two successful small businesses: selling seed for both Golden Harvest and Steyer, and owning and operating the Dairy Queen located in Charlotte.

Brett has always understood the meaning of hard work and has the values we need as our next State Senator. As a small business owner, Brett understands the obstacles that other small business owners face from excessive regulations and bureaucracy. Because of such burdens, many small businesses are unable to succeed – that is why Brett has worked to reduce these burdens.

In addition, Brett is a proud member of the National Rifle Association and is an active member of the Eaton County Farm Bureau, and represented local farmers on the statewide Young Farmer Committee as the representative for District 5.

Brett lives in Eaton Township, just outside of the city of Charlotte, with his wife Megan. Brett and Megan have two children – a daughter named Devin and a son named Ion.
